Long Range Remote (LRR3)

The Long Range Remote (LRR) Version 3 is a solar powered device that has a range of inputs for various monitoring options and uses UHF radio to communicate with an ITU G2 base station.

Typical Configurations

  • At pump shed for monitoring of water meter and pump fault or run signal and well depth
  • At wind machine to monitor air temp, wind machine on/off and battery voltage
  • Underneath pivot irrigator with two soil moisture sensors buried at 100mm and 300mm depths for multi-level readings

  • Two analog inputs with ranges of 2V, 10V, 40V, or 4-20mA
  • Two digital inputs with counting capability
  • SDI-12 data input
  • One configurable excitation output with programmable voltage up to 15V
  • One Dallas 1-wire bus input for Harvest temp, humidity and barometric pressure sensors
  • One minute reporting to ITU
  • All settings can be remotely programmed by the Harvest Technical Support Centre
